Administrative

The body of law that governs our federal, provincial, and territorial administrative agencies ensures that agencies and tribunals observe the limits of their authority in all decisions and operations.

Our vast history in this area traverses Federal, Provincial, Territorial and Municipal governments; institutions of public government boards, tribunals and regional authorities; and quasi-governmental bodies across a number of jurisdictions in Canada. We have acted as legal counsel for administrative boards and at at administrative hearings before a variety of administrative bodies, conducted judicial review and/or appeal of decisions made by administrative tribunals, and assisted in the establishment and training of administrative tribunals. We have also participated in post-secondary research concerning the evaluation of administrative tribunal behaviour in Canada, authoring peer review articles and other publications in the process.
