Throughout Canadian history, the relationship and interaction between governments and Aboriginal Peoples has been greatly contested.

Effective litigation of the issues at stake is an essential part of their resolution – and that’s where we come in. We have been litigating landmark cases in this area at both trial and appellate levels for over 20 years, from Sparrow in the late 1980’s to Lax Kw’alaams and Ahousaht in recent years.  In so doing, we have helped establish and protect the precedents that governs our Aboriginal relations, now and for years to come.
